Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Unframed app and website. By creating an account or joining a trip, you agree to them.
1. The service
Unframed lets a group of travelers capture photos and short videos into one shared trip album, optionally sealed until a reveal moment chosen by the trip's admin. Free accounts can join unlimited trips; hosting limits and premium features (Trip Pass, Unframed Plus) are described in the app.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in method secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) or on this website after signing in.
3. Your content
You own the photos and videos you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, resize, and deliver them — solely to operate the service for you and your trip group (including generating thumbnails and, where enabled, running the opt-in person filter). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the rolling backup window described in the Privacy Policy.
Only upload content you have the right to share. Be mindful that trip members can view and download the album — get your travel companions' okay, like you would before posting a group photo anywhere.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Unframed to upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, sexually exploitative, harassing, or that depicts people who have asked not to be included. Don't attempt to access other trips' media, probe or overload the service, or resell it.
Every trip member can report media; trip admins can remove members and delete reported content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Purchases
Trip Pass is a one-time purchase that upgrades a single trip for every member of that trip. Unframed Plus is an annual auto-renewing subscription managed through your Apple ID; cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings, effective at the end of the billing period. Purchases are processed by Apple, and Apple's refund policies apply.
6. Storage & retention
Free trip albums remain available for 30 days after the reveal, then expire — save your album to your device before then. Trip Pass albums are stored indefinitely while the service operates. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can download your albums.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is". Keep your own copies of irreplaceable photos — one-tap album save exists for exactly this. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination & changes
You can stop using Unframed and delete your account at any time. We may update these terms; for material changes we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
